All members of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis (CPJA) believe that unconscious processes shape our behaviour and our lives. Broadly speaking this means that we don’t know as much about ourselves as we think we do.
UKCP is organised into a number of colleges, each representing a school of thought within psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling.

Our listing organisations are professional bodies which re-accredit registrants onto the UKCP Register. Listing organisations do not train or accredit professionals who have not been accredited previously onto the register.
