Emerging Researcher Network (ERN)

A quarterly network offering expert-led presentations, Q&A and peer support for emerging psychotherapy researchers to develop skills, share work and gain CPD credit.

Held quarterly on Wednesday lunchtimes | Online 

UKCP invites all postgraduate and early career researchers to join the Emerging Researcher Network (ERN). ERN meetings will occur quarterly on a Wednesday afternoon. At each meeting, there will be a presentation given by an expert in the field and a Q&A session, followed by an opportunity for emerging researchers to give an overview of their own work in small groups. Individuals can discuss any challenges or barriers they’re facing in a current project with the expert and wider network and come away with specific tips, advice and guidance.   

The expert speaker presentations will alternate between a practical research skill and a thematic or contemporary psychotherapy topic. After each event you will receive a certificate of attendance which you can submit for consideration towards your CPD hours. Upcoming sessions include:
