I work integratively and collaboratively with people who come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are struggling with patterns that feel repetitive or painful, others are responding to life events that have unsettled their sense of direction, and some are wanting to understand themselves more deeply. If you are reading this, a part of you may already sense that something needs attention. While beginning may feel exposing, many find that the process becomes grounding, clarifying, and gradually supportive in ways they did not expect. Whatever brings you, I offer a confidential, supportive space where difficult experiences can be explored safely and new ways of relating to yourself and your life can emerge. I work from a blend of different approaches, drawing os psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and transpersonal perspectives. This means psychotherapy focuses on you and on gaining insight into your difficulties. We explore to name a few, questions of meaning, identity, and purpose, recognising it often carries a deeper invitation to reflect on how you are living in the world.
I am a depth psychotherapist working in a trauma-informed way. My approach is unhurried, shaped by the belief that therapy works best when you feel met, understood, and supported at your own pace. Alongside talking, at times I may draw on creative processes such as dreams, art, imagery, and body-based awareness. This is not about creative artwork (andyou do not have to be an artist) but about offering a safe way for you to find a path through creative expression and the unfolding of experiences that are difficult to put into words. My role is to support you on your journey of self-discovery and inner transformation.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
