About Me

Psychotherapist, EMDR therapist and supervisor working in private practice i n Hackney and Bow.

Feeling stuck? Struggling to get over the pandemic? Panic and depression taking over your life? You’re not alone – many people are experiencing a whole range of challenges just now.

The good news is that support is available and visiting this website is a great first step. I'm here to help you develop your confidence, resilience and grow as a person through support, counselling and psychotherapy.

Are you experiencing anxiety or having issues with relationships, family or friends? Have you decided the time is right to get the support you need and deserve? I’m a qualified and experienced psychotherapist who will work with you to help you face your current challenges and overcome the negative situations which are holding you back.

I’m based centrally in London and welcome clients face to face or online if you’d prefer.

How I can help
I provide a safe and confidential space where we can work together to gain insights about the issues causing you concern or distress. Our aim will be to overcome these barriers, enabling you to enhance your life and live more fully. This therapeutic support can last for an agreed time period or for as long as it takes. You’ll receive a friendly welcome at my consulting rooms on Mare Street in South Hackney and close to Mile End Underground Station, which is convenient for the City of London.

My approach
I am an empathic therapist, based in East London. I’m looking forward to hearing about the issues that concern you by offering a safe space to explore them and reflect with you with compassion. I have a genuine interest in peoples’ identities and how they shape day to day life. The work is mainly done through a psychodynamic approach, making clients aware that problems and distress in the present may have originated in their earlier life experiences. Understanding this is the first step towards achieving a change in awareness, perception and relationships.

If preferred, I offer sessions in Greek and in French.

Completed training at WPF Therapy, one of the most esteemed counselling and psychotherapy institutes in London

I am managing the patient and family counselling service at St Joseph's hospice in Hackney, supporting patients who live in East London.

I have worked at NHS East London Foundation Trust as a senior psychotherapist and Relational Therapies Lead.

Passionate about young people’s mental health; worked for the Prince’s Trust as their Mental Health Advisor.

Supervisor, I offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists from a jungian and psychoanalytic perspective.

I have extensively supported professionals in the City and also regularly with young people and students, people at all ages and those working in the media and arts.
