My Approach

Gestalt therapy emphasises the importance of awareness, relationship, and the present moment. I help clients notice what they feel, think, and do — and how these parts of experience connect. This awareness creates space for growth, healing, and new possibilities.

In EMDR therapy, I support clients to process traumatic or distressing experiences that may still feel “stuck” in the body or mind. EMDR can be particularly effective for PTSD, anxiety, grief, and childhood or relational trauma.

My approach is trauma-informed, inclusive, and relational. I value diversity and understand that our social, cultural, and personal contexts shape how we show up in the world. Therapy with me offers curiosity, compassion, and care — helping you move towards greater wholeness and self-acceptance.

About Me

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, trained in both Gestalt therapy (individual and group) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). I offer therapy that is warm, supportive, and culturally attuned a space where you can safely explore what’s troubling you and begin to make sense of your experiences.

My approach is integrative, drawing on Gestalt therapy, EMDR, person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT perspectives. Being trained primarily in Gestalt therapy, I focus on awareness, meaning, and the here-and-now, how past experiences influence present patterns. Together, we pay attention to what emerges in the moment, allowing for insight, connection, and the possibility of real change.

I believe that therapy works best when it feels collaborative and human. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you to recognise unhelpful patterns, process difficult emotions, and reconnect with your sense of self and choice. Whether you’re navigating trauma, loss, identity, or life transitions, we work at a pace that feels right for you.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have extensive experience working with trauma, including sexual abuse (ASA), domestic violence (DV), and complex PTSD. EMDR helps clients process painful memories and regain a sense of safety, empowerment, and balance in their lives.
I work with professionals and individuals navigating high stress, workplace anxiety, and burnout. Together, we explore the emotional and physical signs of overwhelm and find sustainable ways to restore calm and balance.
I specialise in exploring identity, race, and cultural experience in therapy. This includes supporting clients who have felt marginalised or unseen, helping them to reconnect with their power, voice, and self-worth.
Therapy can help you understand the roots of self-doubt and reconnect with your strengths. I support clients to develop healthier self-awareness, boundaries, and confidence in both personal and professional life.
