My approach draws on psychoanalytic theory and practice to offer thought provoking interventions designed to encourage a new understanding of your patterns of thinking and behaviour and to help you to adjust your repertoire of responses in ways that improve your mood, relationships and life opportunities.
You may be bringing live issues, longstanding concerns and old wounds or the problem may not be clear. Perhaps relationships are unsatisfactory or too many aspects of life feel overwhelming. I offer short or long-term psychodynamic therapy for individuals either face-to-face or online.
I am a qualified psychoanalyst / psychotherapist with over ten years experience in the private and charity sectors as well as the NHS, I have experience of working with a variety of issues while being receptive to intersectionalities of gender, race, class and sexual orientation with a special interest in identity issues. I have worked at Director level in the mental health sector.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
