Susan Blundell is a psychoanaytic psychotherapist, counsellor, supervisor and trainer based in Tonbridge, Kent, near Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

I have twelve years’ qualified experience working with men and women of all ages. background, sexuality and many ethnicities. I have worked in the NHS, hospital and GP surgeries, charity sector and in private practice.
My therapeutic approaches are psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and relational.
To give you some indication of my work, I have worked with people exploring the following issues: Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Bereavement, Obsessions, Abuse, Childhood Trauma & Abuse, Relationships, Life Crises, Work Difficulties, Loss, Transitions, Identity, Sexuality, Desire, Dreams, Shame, Guilt, Spirituality.
In my work alongside my private practice, I am Head of Counselling at The Counselling Centre in Tunbridge Wells, a BACP accredited community counselling service and charity. I am also a group supervisor there and a trainer on the BACP accredited diploma in psychodynamic counselling.
I am available as a training therapist for counsellors, psychotherapists and clinical psychologists. I am a qualified supervisor registered on the UKCP Supervisory Directory and offer individual supervision in my private practice.
It is not my usual practice to offer therapy online. However, during the restrictions related to coronavirus (Covid-19), I am offering video sessions by zoom. When restrictions are lifted, sessions will then move to face to face in my consulting room.
