My Approach

My approach is predominantly psychodynamic and psychoanalytic - but integrative and tailored to the individual, group or team that I work with. I am contextually focused, psychodynamic and systemic organisational consultant. I work with patients who have been surviving childhood traumas and support them in regaining their life control and voice. I work systemically and psychodynamically with teams and organisations.

About Me

As a group analyst I work with individuals, organisations and groups. I am a legal advocate and qualified Family Mediator (MIAM). I have more than 20 years of clinical practice and I am highly experienced psychotherapist in the field of personality disorders and childhood Trauma. I work with survivors of sexual abuse and I have been involved in various National Inquiries on historic sexual abuse and expert panels. As an organisational consultant I use systems psychodynamic approaches to analyse organisational dilemmas and work with leaders to develop the teams' culture, role and task clarity within teams. My research interests centre around exploring HRO systems, organisational risk and systemic intermittence processes in addressing compliance. I practice as a clinical supervisor and coach in various settings with varied client groups both within the statutory and non statutory sector(s). I currently work within the NHS in a senior executive and service transformation role. I have led transformational programmes in complex organisational environments. I lecture at various training institutions as a senior lecturer in topics related to treatment efficacy, diagnostic assessment, Bipolar affective and Personality disorders, theoretical psychotherapy, systems of organisational psychology. I sit in First Tier MH Review Tribunal Member as a specialist. I am accredited International Commercial Legal Mediator.

I have years of experience in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse and have a special interest in the area of traumatogenesis
I have worked with highly complex organisational systems and have supported clients who have experience of bullying and harassment and work. I offer role consultations and coaching to people who experience employment difficulties or want to be coached for their next roles in any industry.
working withe people who experience anger as a way of copying with intimate relationships.
have worked with people who struggle to come to terms with their gender identity and have intense interest in working within the LGBTQI community groups.
