Hello, my name is Simone. I’m a highly experienced integrative UKCP Registered Psychotherapist who’s worked with individuals and couples across a wide range of settings including the NHS for over 14 years.
You may have found this website because you’re considering counselling or psychotherapy for yourself or someone you care about.
We all instinctively know having someone compassionate and supportive to talk to will help us through a crisis or difficult patch. Friends, family and colleagues may be great to talk over some aspect of our lives with, yet there may be some topics we feel uncomfortable discussing, or we may even feel a burden if we were to share them.
Therapy offers a safe environment for you to talk with someone who’s trained to help you deal with and accommodate a wide range of emotional, social and mental health issues. It has a proven track record, which explains why so many people use therapy as a way of resolving personal difficulties and challenges when trying to find their path through life.
In the face of the new challenges we face with COVID-19, I’m currently providing therapy via video conferencing or telephone. I really enjoy working with these formats and value the opportunities they provide to help us connect during these times of uncertainty, isolation and anxiety. Research consistently shows that online and telephone therapy is as effective as in-person therapy.
My practice is based in Hope Bowdler close to Church Stretton and within easy reach of Craven Arms, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.
