I have worked with children and young people since 2004. During my professional career, I have worked with CYP and have a variety of experiences in educational and private settings. Some of the areas of my experience has been working with children and young people affected by divorce, loss, bereavement, drugs and alcohol, domestic violence, children in foster care, self-harm, emotional dysregulation as well as relationship and attachment issues. I work in partnership with parents for the best interest of their child.
I can see clients privately in Maidenhead, as well as schools within 20 miles of Maidenhead. I incorporate the expressive arts to deepen the therapeutic process which includes embodied play, clay, puppets, art and sand play. I can work short-term or long-term depending on the issue. Apart from working with CYP I work with adults with different issues.
My approach is in understanding the unconsciously driven behaviour non-judgementally, with empathy, validation and acceptance. I provide a confidential safe space which can lead you to trust your wisdom and to find your compass. I see my role as a facilitator to help you through life's difficulties and to help you find solutions that work for you.
