I have worked as an accredited psychotherapist for the past 22 years and have a wide range of of therapeutic experiences such as applied neuroscience and neuropsychology, nursing and Mental Fitness Coaching, to draw from. The majority of clients that I help tend to suffer anxiety and stress-related conditions such as panic attacks, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), infertility, IBS, cancers and depression.
I have learnt that stress will always be part of our lives, however what is important is how we respond to those stressful events as this will decide whether we suffer long term detrimental effects in our mind and | or body or not. Thus a primary part of our therapy sessions is about exploring ways in which you can learn to deal with stressful issues in a safe and compassionate environment.
I generally see clients on an individual basis however I also see them as part of a group. As a trainer and educator I run training courses on Stress and Emotional Resilience, Intuitive Decision Making, Weight-loss, Pregnancy Management.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
