I believe therapy can help to increase our understanding of ourselves, our thoughts, feelings and behaviours so that we are more able to make healthy decisions, be aware of our options in life, work and relationships so that we are able to be true to ourselves in living a happier, healthier life.
I provide safe, confidential, non- judgemental therapy in partnership with clients; working together within the therapeutic relationship to achieve an agreed outcome or goal.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist I work within a Person Centred framework using a combination of different approaches, skills and techniques dependant on individual need.
I have worked in the NHS in a variety of roles for many years; my work as a Psychotherapist has been in private practice as well as the NHS Adult Mental Health Services in Primary Care settings. My experience has given me insight into the stresses and common mental health problems that may present and how to manage them in a healthy way.
I have current, enhanced CRB clearance.
I have current professional indemnity insurance.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
