Hello. My name is Shaun, and I provide psychotherapy in a safe and confidential environment, to collaboratively explore any issues and difficulties you may be experiencing. My approach is integrative: I adapt my approach to suit the client’s needs and draw on a range of schools of psychology to work with each unique individual.
I have two degrees in Psychology and am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist, working towards a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute. I have several years' experience working with clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties, from anxiety, depression and relationship issues to personality disorders. I work with both long and short-term clients, though I aim to build a long-term therapeutic relationship with my clients. In addition to my private practice, I have also worked at MIND (the mental health charity) and the NHS.
How it works: We would start with an initial consultation session which allows us to determine whether or not we could work effectively together. If we decide to go ahead, we would agree an initial schedule of sessions, usually 8 to 12 weeks, after which we can take an open-ended approach.
I practice from two locations: Ladbroke Grove near Notting Hill in West London and Marylebone in Central London.
My fee is £60 to £80 per 50 minute session, depending on the time of day, and location. Concessions are available for full-time students and people on low income.
