Sandra is an Advanced Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, and has been in practice since 1999. She previously worked for many years in education as a highly qualified senior teacher in secondary schools, leaving to work in a private psychiatric hospital and then onto becoming a full time therapist where she now divides her time between a successful private practice in Colchester, writing books, and co-running Contemporary College of Therapeutic Studies.
She has been training people in hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and counselling for the past 13 years helping to develop courses that allow people to flourish and learn to become reflective and competent therapists.
Sandra has completed her Masters degree in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling, is now undertaking her Doctorate and is also in the process of completing her fifth book.
Sandra is a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and is a Senior Qualified Hypnotherapy Practitioner.
She has completed training in Existential Psychotherapy & Counselling, Cognitive and Behavioural Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy, NLP, Analytical Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy and Advanced Inner Child Therapy. She has also trained in many other different forms of Psychotherapy, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Transactional Hypno-Analysis.
She uses all her training, techniques and strategies tailoring them to each individual client to allow permanent change to occur.
