My Approach

I have been a practising psychotherapist since 2011, working with adults. I am qualified in dream-work, EMDR for trauma, and love to work creatively. Also IFS and trauma-informed, I keep up-to-date with many hours of CPD and my own personal therapy.

About Me

Hello! I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapist, working from a lovely studio in WimbIedon Village and online. I work with clients facing a range of difficult issues. This is usually long-term work, but can also be short-term depending on needs.

I work with

  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Whilst I don't work with life-debilitating addiction, I do work with those addictive habits which are a crutch in life, for example, a little too much of something which numbs the pain and is covering a wound which needs to be healed. Addictions always lead to the wound, so I see them as helpful guides in a way.
So many people suffer from anxiety. Whilst there are multiple causes, generally I find that it arises as a result of an adverse childhood experience/s. Usually there's a lost child part who is holding the anxiety.
When there are issues in a couple's relationship it can be another useful signpost to a childhood wound. There is a wonderful saying: "Love brings up everything that isn't love." I do not tend to work with couples, but rather individuals. However, when a client is in a relationship it acts as a touchstone to what needs to be healed.
Relationship, both with oneself and with others always surfaces as an issue after a childhood of adverse experiences. I have run a seminar called: early childhood, blueprint to relationships.
I am a qualified in EDMR which I use with trauma. This tends to be the drip, drip, drip of complex childhood trauma - neglect, not being seen, heard etc.
