About Me

I have spent much of my career helping people who suffer from a wide variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties and mental health problems. I have worked in the NHS for over 22 years and am now able to offer private appointments.
I have a very wide variety and depth of psychotherapeutic experience. I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist who has worked extensively with families, couples, individuals, groups and mental health and social care professionals. I have worked exclusively as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist for 8 years, having previously worked as a Mental Health Nurse Therapist and Psychotherapist for 10 years. I worked in a specialist psychotherapeutic day unit for people with a diagnosis of personality disorder then subsequently for the Family Therapy Service in the Psychotherapy Department, both at the Maudsley Hospital, London.
I then worked in the Intensive Psychological Therapies Service at Lewisham Hospital before moving to Ipswich in 2014 to take on a role as a Family Therapist and Trainer developing family therapy in Suffolk. I set up Therapy 4 Family to offer my psychotherapeutic experience to the people of East Anglia more extensively.
