I am a fully accredited UKCP psychotherapist. I have been working with clients on a one-to-one and group basis for several years and in various settings including private practice, a community centre, and a mental health charity. Prior to being a psychotherapist, I worked as a solicitor in the City of London for several years, and before that as a financial trader. I believe that all my past experiences have helped me become more attuned to various challenges and difficulties in life, and have helped me understand clients from all backgrounds, but especially those working in high-pressure environments.
Psychotherapy is a long term process, and could take up to a year or more. I contract with clients on an open-ended basis, which means that there is no set finish date, but that is something which is ultimately determined by you. Sessions of 50 minutes each are held weekly, and I carry out regular check-ins to see whether you are getting the most out of it.
Whether you have experienced psychotherapy before or not, starting with a new therapist can be quite daunting. If you have any questions please get in touch.
