It is important to find a therapist that takes the time to understand you, your goals, hopes so finding a 'good fit' is an important part of the journey to a therapeutic relationship that works for both client and therapist.
However, choosing to contact a therapist can be daunting, and I understand the importance of finding a therapist that feels like a good ‘fit’ for you, so our first session would focus on determining whether you feel this is the right space for you and how we would work together should you choose to continue.
I work using a range of therapy techniques depending on the individual, couples and families individual needs to work towards the therapeutic goals in a transparent way. This means we will have a shared understanding of the therapy methods.
