About Me

Hello, I am Paolo and welcome to my profile.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, secure, non-judgmental, confidential and compassionate environment.

I treat clients with a variety of conditions e.g. anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, etc. - see "I work with" section on this website and my website for an extended list.

I work with individuals (16 years old and older), couples and groups (including families), and offer short, medium and long term/open ended treatments.

I am specialised in Advanced Trauma Treatment (Sensorimotor Level 1) and in Developmental and Relational Trauma treatment (Sensorimotor Level 2).

I hold UKCP full clinical accreditation (Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College) and am a BACP Registered Member, and I abide to their respective codes of conduct.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with a primary training in Relational Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (MSc, DIploma and Certified Transactional Analyst in Psychotherapy-CTA-P). I also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1 and Level 2) and EMDR. I also hold a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am a Master NLP Practitioner (I have practiced Coaching for years before qualifying as a counsellor and later as psychotherapist).

In my Mindfulness and Body-informed practice, I integrate psychotherapeutic elements of a number of modalities including Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (Humanistic), Relational Psychoanalysis, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family System (IFS) parts work, EMDR, CBT.
