About Me

I qualified as a Group-Analytic Psychotherapist after seven years of training at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation in 2005 and was in my own therapy throughout and ran student groups on the psychodynamic trainings at Brighton University and Tunbridge Wells Counselling Centre over a period of five years. It was during the period 2008 to 2010 that I undertook further one-year trainings at the Institute of Family Therapy and the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relations in the fields of Systemic Therapy and Attachment Theory and Psychoanalysis respectively. Simultaneously I was seeing couples and individuals in Tunbridge Wells.
I moved to Cambridge in 2010 to work at the Group Therapy Centre there, gaining extensive experience in both assessing patients and running therapy groups. After two years I began in private practice, working at the same time with West Essex MIND seeing GP-referred couples and individuals for short-term counselling and at the Cogwheel Trust, a counselling charity for contracts of varying lengths. I gave up the work for MIND as my private practice grew and I began to see more long-term clients.
Following a move to Birmingham I worked for five years in private practice with both couples and individuals for some years with clients from a diverse range of ages, sexualities and ethnic backgrounds. I am now living in Seaford on the South coast working online and hoping to return to face to face in the near future when it feels safe to do so.
