My Approach

I offer clients an opportunity to talk in confidence to someone who has a professional understanding of emotional difficulties. My aim is to support you to develop greater insight into the issues that are bothering you and facilitate the discovery of possible new ways of dealing with them. I will not judge you or try to influence your decisions in any way but instead will respect your ability to make your own choices in finding ways to move forward. I understand that the decision to come to counselling is a big commitment in time, money and emotion. It is therefore, important to me that you feel as fully informed and as comfortable as possible in making that decision. An initial appointment will give you the chance to get a sense of what it might be like to work with me and although this session is subject to the usual fee, you are under no obligation to continue, should you choose not to do so. If you would like to discuss things further, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
