I am a UKCP registered and AFT accredited Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with a private practice on the Isle of Wight. I offer work with families, couples and individuals.
Anyone can face challenges at any time in their life, overwhelmed by a range of emotions or a sense of being stuck. These struggles may have been with you for a considerable time or have maybe more recently evolved out of changing situations or particular events. Most of the time we manage these difficulties on our own, but there are times at which we feel we need some additional support
I work with anxiety and worry, adoption issues, separation (of couples or from parents or children), depression, stress, relationship issues, identity problems, spirituality, parenting issue, cultural issues, dealing with anger and dilemma's.
Family Therapy offers opportunities to explore where you are at as we start our work together. In the confidential setting that I offer, clients and I look together for safe and supported ways to assist them to say those things that are too difficult to talk about on their own or together with loved ones.
Discussion that usually don't go anywhere are assisted in ways that remain still fitting to the values and norms you, you and your partner or you and your family hold or want to pursue. In this process clients can chose to to move into new possibilities.
Client's feedback in the sessions will guide where the journey takes us at a pace that works for you.
The work I do can stand alone or be part of a wider plan, with or without other services involved.
You can contact me by phone or email. You can tell me what you are seeking help for.
Fees are at compatible rates that make it feasible for you to enjoy the professional service I offer.
