Being an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor means that I work with the person as a whole, using various different theoretical inputs. I work with you with whatever you bring to session and allow you to work through what you need to. Coming into counselling can be a daunting process and I aim to offer you a safe space to explore what ever it is that you need to, with empathy and kindness. I don't believe that any one size fits all approach truly works, and I work with each client differently, because everyone and their experiences are different. As I mentioned above, I use various different theoretical inputs as part of my work, including CBT, Transactional Analysis, The Therapeutic Relationship, Gestalt and Attachment work to name a few.
I also have a special interest in working with those who have been to boarding school and completed a Diploma Level training with Nick Duffell and the team at Boarding Concern in Specialist Psychotherapy with Ex Boarders.
My session fees are £45 a session.
