As a person-centred psychotherapist and counsellor, I believe we all have the resources within us to understand ourselves and change, given the right environment. The essence of my work is to provide and develop a relationship that allows clients to explore fundamental aspects of themselves, their experiences and feelings, without judgement.
If you feel anxious, sad, or depressed, if you’re grieving, dealing with trauma, anger, worry or self-esteem, struggling with relationships, not sure where life is taking you, or considering new opportunities, I can help.
Currently on the counselling team at Nottingham Trent University as well as working in private practice from my office in West Bridgford.
I saw my first counselling client in 2015 and I felt the sense of both responsibility but also privilege of being trusted to hear someone’s innermost thoughts and feelings. Their story. I still feel the same every single day.
I have been privileged to see a diverse range of clients across age-groups, class, gender, race and sexuality.
My training and experience mean I can “show up” for you, in the emotional sense as well as physical, every time we meet.
Sometimes it can be helpful to talk to someone, other than those you know, about what you are thinking and feeling.
I provide confidential, non-judgmental, one-to-one counselling, psychotherapy and coaching for adults, from my base in West Bridgford, Nottingham
