About Me

I work with couples, individuals and groups, offering both short term counselling and longer term psychotherapy and I work with all levels of emotional distress and trauma, including anxiety, depression, abuse, personality disorders, loss & bereavement, and relationship difficulties. My approach is from a psychodynamic perspective, drawing on Transactional Analysis and Relational Psychoanalysis and the latest research in neuroscience and attachment theory. I provide a safe, confidential and non judgemental space for you to talk, so that together we can explore the difficulties you are facing and help uncover the underlying issues which might be causing some of the difficulties, and also any self-defeating patterns that may have arisen as a consequence of life’s events and together work to resolve these so that you can move forward and enjoy life to the full.
