I’m a UKCP-registered psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience, originally trained in mental health nursing and later in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) within the NHS. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and addiction recovery.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and integrates CAT, EMDR, EFT, and somatic methods. I also draw on personal insight from my own 12-step recovery. As a practising Catholic, I welcome clients who wish to explore questions of meaning, faith, or spirituality—whatever their background or beliefs.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
