I have been in private practice since 1986, working with individuals, couples, groups and staff teams from a diverse range of ages, cultural and religious backgrounds. I have worked in many mental health setting, including the NHS and Social Services. I work in English and German.
I am an individual psychotherapist and training group analyst and member of the Institute of Group Analysis where I also qualified as a supervisor. I am an accredited supervisor with BAPPS and the UKCP and have taught and supervised individual and group work for professionals from a variety of disciplines.
My overall approach is psychoanalytic, but includes other therapeutic modalities. Theoretical reference points may be integrative,
Jungian, or systemic and group analytic since many problems arise in social settings. One of my aims is to help people towards a better understanding of themselves and others. A particular interest is in working with people who may want to develop their creativity in all areas of their lives, whether personal, family and work relationships.
