My Approach

I am passionate about helping you to find your Inner Wild and to understand your true self underneath the layers of life that might have affected and influenced you. I want to invite you back to your creativity, spontaneity and place as part of this world rather than separate from it. We will look at your patterns of relating and how well they support you in connecting with others and the world around you. Understanding the messages that our bodies provide us with will be a key focus. In exploring all of this together we will use, at times, creative methods and working outdoors with the animals, plants, birds and elements around and available to us. To move forward, I believe that we have to learn to accept all of who and how we are in the world with compassion.

The relationship between us is vitally important to the success of your therapy and to help you decide if I am the right person to be alongside you, I suggest an initial session with no further obligation. You can contact me on 07776 046376 if you wish to arrange this or chat further about how we will work together. I look forward to hearing from you.

About Me

I am an experienced Gestalt Psychotherapist and Wild Therapist and work with adults mostly face to face. I see clients individually and also offer group therapy. I like to work outdoors where ever possible so we can take advantage of the healing powers of nature.

I work in a warm, authentic and intuitive way, offering you a safe and non-judgmental space to explore difficulties in your life and relationships. I have worked with many different issues including: anxiety, depression and stress, romantic and family relationship problems, sexuality and gender, life changes including ageing, divorce, separation and redundancy, trauma and abuse, negative body image, mental health diagnoses, loss, grief and bereavement as well as low self-esteem and lack of confidence. I volunteered for 3 years in various agencies supporting adult survivors of child abuse, university students and also with young people before moving into private practice in 2016.

I also taught on the Diploma in Gestalt and Humanistic Counselling at Eastleigh College in 2018.
