I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst based in Hampstead, NW3, in North West London. I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults dealing with a side range of emotional issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, loss and trauma. I specialise in medium- to longer-term work, but I am also available for shorter-term therapy. I have been offering remote sessions during the Covid pandemic. I work from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective, based on the principal that your present difficulties, distress or relationship patterns may be related to early experiences. Understanding these can help you gain fresh insights into your life and find the best way forward. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and offer the opportunity to reflect on how you think, feel, relate to others and respond to life events. In a professional and supportive environment, you can discuss past experiences, current challenges or hopes for the future. Confidentiality is paramount and you can talk safely without fear of being judged, criticised, rejected or blamed. At an initial assessment we can discuss your needs and which type of treatment would be most helpful. Therapy is a chance for you to gain self-awareness, explore your potential and live more fully. Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
