I am an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist. This means I work with a broad range of issues and have lots of different styles in my toolkit, which I flex to suit the needs of each individual client. You may generally be feeling stuck in your life, or at a cross-roads, or you may be lacking purpose or drive. Or you may be going through a particularly difficult time in your life and be looking for a safe, non-judgemental space to unpack and talk through specific events to help you make sense of them.
Whatever you have to bring, I commit to listening and helping you to make sense of things, so you can find the best way forward for you.
I work quite creatively, and in addition to straightforward ‘talking therapy’ we may work with your dreams, through creative expression such as art, or exploring your internal landscape through meditation and visualisation techniques. A combination of these techniques is usually used to help you achieve the results you are looking for.
In my practice I deal with a very broad range of issues, commonly working with things like anxiety, insomnia, depression, infertility, miscarriage, menopause, disorders relating to weight, addiction issues, lack of self-worth, relationship concerns such as break-ups or intimacy issues, a sense of feeling ‘different’ or not belonging, bereavement and childhood trauma.
I began my training several years ago, which I undertook alongside my day job. I now run a dual career, operating a boutique private practice in addition to my original corporate role.
In the corporate space a deep interest and passion for relational dynamics between groups extends to helping teams develop and operate more cohesively through 1:1 work, as well as workshops and exercises for the whole team.
Closer to home, I work with a broad array of presenting issues, but I have a particular passion for helping blended families come together and create new bonds and healthy attachments.
I also see couples, whether you are looking to separate gracefully and end the relationship gently and carefully, or whether you wish to work together to improve the health and quality of your relationship.
