I offer a safe, confidential space that is free of judgement. Counselling provides an opportunity to examine and make sense of your life, your experiences and the choices that you have made, or the options that you are considering.
Through counselling you will learn about yourself , how you can develop tools to care for yourself and how to be the best version of yourself.
I enjoy helping people overcome their anxiety or depression, allowing them to live a life that is fulfilled and feel happy.
I have a particular interest in supporting people who have experienced various traumas and the impact this can have on their lives. These events can leave people feeling completely disconnected from themselves and other people in their lives.
I have a broad base of experience gained from my time spent counselling in a GP’s surgeries, Counselling services and a Women’s Health and Wellbeing Centre within the past 8 years. During this time I have worked with many people experiencing many difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma and childhood abuse.
I enjoy working with people; so that they can gain a greater understanding of themselves and reach their full potential of mental health well being.
My love of nature and being outdoors and how powerful it can be in increasing our sense of self and it’s healing power; has led me to have outdoor counselling sessions with clients (see my website for further information).
I believe that given the right support, then a person can flourish and live the life that gives them joy and pleasure.
