My Approach

My approach is grounded in Gestalt psychotherapy, a relational, embodied, and holistic form of therapy that pays attention to how thoughts, emotions, bodily experience, and relationships are lived in the present moment.

I integrate Gestalt therapy with EMDR and body-focused approaches to support clients in processing difficult or traumatic experiences and understanding patterns that may no longer serve them. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I am interested in helping people develop greater awareness, self-understanding, and choice in how they relate to themselves and others.

I aim to offer a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic relationship where new possibilities for growth, change, and authentic living can emerge.

About Me

I am a UKCP-registered Gestalt psychotherapist, EMDR therapist, psychologist, and supervisor with over 15 years of experience supporting adults in a range of settings, including the NHS, charities, public services, and private practice.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, health concerns, and life transitions. Alongside my private practice, I teach on a Master's programme at the Gestalt Institute of Ireland, supporting therapists in developing relational, embodied, and ethically grounded practice.

My work is also informed by my own experience of migration, belonging, and identity, which has deepened my appreciation of the complexities of human experience and the importance of meaningful connection.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I offer an affirming and inclusive space for people exploring questions of gender, sexuality, identity, and relationship diversity. Whether you are seeking support around self-understanding, coming out, relationships, belonging, discrimination, or navigating life transitions, I aim to provide a therapeutic relationship characterised by curiosity, respect, and openness. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and work collaboratively to support greater self-awareness, authenticity, and connection.
Relationships can be a source of both fulfilment and difficulty. I work with clients experiencing challenges in intimate relationships, family dynamics, friendships, or professional relationships. Our work explores patterns of relating, communication, connection, and boundaries, creating opportunities for more authentic and satisfying relationships.
I offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors, and trainees, providing a reflective and collaborative space to support professional development and ethical practice. My approach to supervision is grounded in Gestalt principles and informed by my experience as a psychotherapist, EMDR therapist, psychologist, and educator. I am interested in the relational process between therapist and client, the use of self in practice, embodied awareness, and the challenges that emerge in clinical work. I aim to create a supportive environment where practitioners can deepen their understanding, develop confidence in their work, and explore both clinical and professional issues with curiosity and openness.
I support people who have experienced traumatic, overwhelming, or difficult life events that continue to affect their emotional wellbeing, relationships, or sense of self. Drawing on Gestalt psychotherapy and EMDR, I help clients process unresolved experiences, develop greater self-support, and reconnect with a sense of vitality, safety, and choice.
