About me
I am a highly qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, accredited with both the National Counselling Society and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I prioritise the unique working relationship with each client.

I work with clients who are having difficulties for a wide variety of reasons. You may feel anxious or depressed, or be struggling with low self confidence. You may have had some difficult experiences such as bereavement or assault that you have struggled to come to terms with. You may feel that your experiences growing up have had an adverse impact on your adult life. These may include experiences of of domestic violence, parental divorce or death, emotional or physical neglect or abuse, sexual abuse. You may have grown up in a household in which someone experienced a disabiity or mental illness, or where the adults had problems with drugs or alcohol. Talking over these experiences with a sensitive and thougthful listener can be helpful.

I am also interested in working with people who are interested in using therapy to explore their inner life or to further their personal development.

I approach our relationship with empathy, curiosity, patience and goodwill, and have enjoyed the experience of working with clients on a wide range of issues. Ethics are at the heart of my practice, and I offer a safe, principled and confidential experience.
