About Me

Karen-Marie is an experienced and professional counsellor with a wealth of experience of working since 2006 in a variety of settings in the private, education and voluntary sectors. For the past ten years she has worked with families who have a child with special educational needs.  She provides counselling to adults and families who may be feeling worried or stuck. She is able to offer counselling on a short and long term basis. She is a registered member of UKCP



Karen-Marie provides a safe environment in which emotional  difficulties can be explored. She has a professional qualification in Gestalt Psychotherapy and has experienced training  in both psychodynamic and person centred models of counselling which gives her a wide range of tools to support you in the work together. She believes that counselling helps to develop the awareness needed for growth, change and healing.
