I am a UKCP accredited and registered Integrative Psychotherapist with a private practice in North London where I provide short and long-term psychotherapy and counselling for adult individuals, couples and adolescents. I have an MA and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and The Minster Centre and I work with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, illness, post-natal anxiety/depression, and feeling stuck, unhappy or unfulfilled. I have particular experience working with actors, artists, musicians and people who work in the media.
I am also a qualified group facilitator for people who hear voices and have experiences outside the 'norm'.
I enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds, races and sexual orientations and believe that everybody deserves someone to talk to who will listen to them with interest, compassion and empathy.
Areas of counselling I deal with:
Affairs and betrayals
Child related issues
Cross cultural relationships
Pregnancy and birth
Separation and divorce
Work related stress
Individuals: I have a sliding scale from £80 - £65. Couples: £100 - £80.
Other qualifications include a BA (Joint Honours) from Bristol University in Music and Italian (1989). In my previous career I was a BBC-trained Television Director/Producer, specialising in documentaries and factual programmes. Listening to people's stories with genuine interest, and working with them in a collaborative, creative and sensitive way has always been, and still is, important to me.
