About Me

If its time you started taking your emotional world seriously, then you need professional help. I offer Individual psychodynamic counselling , psychotherapy psychotherapy groups.and supervision of a wide range of therapy practitioners. My commitment to my training has continued alongside my practice for over 20 years to include extensive periods of training in individual counselling, psychotherapy , supervision, and group therapy. Taking my training seriously, I have gained a wide experience of helping clients work through entrenched patterns and traumatic experiences to reach more resourceful and hopeful places in their lives.

Psychodynamic therapy can have a beneficial effect on close relationships as well as work issues. With the help of a therapist alongside, it is possible to gain greater insight into how you relate to others.By exploring how you have come to be stuck in particular patterns, the potential to begin to bring about real and lasting change in your life becomes possible- not through advice in coming to find your own unique way forward. My perspective is that whilst advice and guidance can have a valid place in learning, the more you can find your own way with support, the more you will grow and build firm foundations for your future.
I will be happy to speak initially on the telephone ,so please do not hesitate to ring . Usually you will be asked to leave a message and I will ring you as soon as I can. However for a quicker response please email me. You can expect to come for an initial appointment to discuss what it is you are needing and then come weekly, .If we decided to go ahead , I will provide weekly 50 minutes sessions and we can firm up whether you will be coming for a fixed period or on an open ended basis,.continuing until you are ready to leave.
