My Approach

If you are considering therapy you might be stuck in a rut or feeling very low. You might be experiencing fear or anxiety. You may be finding relationships hard going, repeating the same patterns, or finding it difficult to feel close to people. My approach to exploring these and other experiences is that we work together in a process which can help you understand and resolve difficult emotional issues that may be blocking how you want to live. Talking to a professional allows you to share the things that may be troubling you in a confidential and non-judgemental space. Examining your inner world and exploring feelings and habits that have gone unrecognised can allow you to create positive shifts in mind and enable change. By looking at your life, both past and present, it’s possible to become aware of patterns and motivations that may have been hard to make sense of alone. Speaking to a therapist is different to the kind of conversations possible with friends, family, even partners.
