I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor based in London NW10. I work one to one with adults experiencing a range of difficulties - relationship breakup/conflict, bereavement (inc. miscarriage/abortion), stressful life changes. I am especially interested and informed by attachment theory and place relationship history and experience at the centre of my work with clients.
I have worked with clients who have experienced childhood family disruption (loss/divorce) which impacts their relationships and way of being now, be that feeling anxious, depressed, or lonely. My aim is to build a comfortable working relationship that enables you to feel safe and be open to talking freely with me. I am experienced in working with loss of a parent or a physically/emotionally absent parent.
I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre in Queens Park, London NW6. For that I wrote my Masters Dissertation on absent fathers. I am also a qualified and experienced a yoga/meditation/mindfulness teacher which means I can also offer mindfulness as part of a session or as a series of focussed sessions. Culturally sensitive, I welcome diversity of age, ethnicity, religion, gender and sexual identity. I will respect and understand your ideas, beliefs and values and not impose mine on you.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
