About Me

As a Certified Transactional Analyst I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of emotional resilience, our capacity for wellbeing and holistic health. Your human capacity to make meaning of your experiences enables you to make new choices, change the direction of your life, and move toward acceptance of what cannot be changed.
I am experienced in working with adult individuals and couples, and young people at my private practice in Cheadle, Cheshire. I combine Transactional Analysis (TA) with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Imago Relationship Therapy, offering you ways to make meaning of your relationship with yourself, your loved ones, and the wider world.

I work with

  • Couples
  • Families
  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

The average time couples wait before seeking support for relationship problems is 6 years. What would happen if you left a physical problem that long? I help couples shift from confusion & conflict back into connection & enjoyment through integrating Imago Relationship therapy into your life together. Your relationship is your sacred space, the space in which you raise your family and you grow as individuals. By focussing on gaining clarity of underlying problems, mutual commitment towards change, and consistently behaving in ways that move you toward your relationship goals, therapy can breathe freshness in to any relationship.
Feel confident about the choices you've made and/or are making about important relationships in your life with therapy. Many people don't have a healthy model of relationship. Like many of us, you may rely on experience, comparing yourself to others, or subscribing to what society tells you a relationship should look like. Only real like doesn't work that way! In a world of information overload, it's easy to get bogged down in what other people think, rather than taking the time and space you deserve to figure out what's important to you in your relationships. At times you might feel as though you have to choose between a relationship and your sense of self? You can have both and it's an important part of your growth and healing journey to find a balance that works for you.
