About Me

As a fully qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist, I am committed to providing psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Whether you want to work short or long-term, my aim is to work creatively and with integrity, to help you safely explore what is troubling you.

We all at sometime or another reach a stage in our lives when talking to somebody in confidence, outside of our situation, can be of enormous benefit. Psychotherapy is a talking therapy and offers you the opportunity to do just that with someone who is experienced, empathic and non-judgemental. By talking with a therapist, you can begin to understand the events of your past and how they affect you today so that going forward you can choose to do things differently. For many clients this is deeply valuable experience and can have a long lasting effect.

My Humanistic and Integrative training enables me to draw from a wide range of theory to encourage the development of my clients. There are many reasons why people seek help and I see each piece of client work as unique. It may be good to know that we will both be actively engaged in shaping the work throughout our time together and that we will go at your pace. You will find me supportive, strengthening, and enlivening whilst helping you to understand the events of the past and how they affect you today so that you can make different choices in the future. I believe it is both the quality of the therapeutic relationship and our willingness to enter into a process of inquiry that is important. Curiosity is key.
