My Approach

My experience over many years has convinced me that talking about your difficulties in a trusted setting, with someone trained to hear them, can help you make sense of your feelings and behaviour, and in turn gain perspective, insight and understanding. I have worked with people with a wide range of problems, including depression, anxiety, stress, compulsive thoughts, childhood trauma, abuse, self-harm, problems around sex or sexuality, fears, loss and bereavement.

About Me

I’m Jane Rushton (MA. DipPsych) – an experienced, qualified, and registered psychotherapist based in Saffron Walden. I provide reliable, non-judgemental, and confidential psychotherapy for individuals and couples.

I have over 20 years’ experience of working with people with emotional and psychological difficulties, working in the NHS and in private practice
