Do you want to make changes in your life or to find ways to tackle depression, anxiety, trauma, stress or other issues that are holding you back from living your life to the full?
I might be able to help. I am an experienced therapist, practising pyschodynamic psychotherapy and counselling in a two locations, both safe, comfortable, confidential and easy to reach on public transport or by car. I have a room in Clerkenwell, near Kings Cross, easily accessible from north London, the City and the West End. I also practice in Crouch End, North London N8. I can offer daytime and evening sessions. I work with women and men, generally in weekly face-to-face 50-minute sessions. I can offer open-ended therapy or short-term work - we go at your pace for as long as you feel is needed to help you get to where you want to be and to make some real life changes.
I work with people on a wide range of issues including bereavement, suicide, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress and conflicts at work, a loss of direction in life and low self esteem. I have a special interest and expertise in issues around parenting and the loss of a baby - miscarriage, still birth, post-natal depression, infertility, fear of pregnancy, concerns about parenting etc.
It is tough to decide whether to start therapy and how to find the right person. Why not call me for a free confidential chat to find out more about me and how I might be able to help you and whether therapy is right for you just now. Looking for this kind of help is not weakness and does not mean you are ill - rather it is an indication of inner strength and a willingness to take better care of yourself in your own life and in the lives of those close to you and to get closer to fulfilling your own potential and life goals.
