About Me

Please Note:

I offer a warm, safe and confidential space in which you can bring any issue for careful and compassionate exploration. I am a sensitive and experienced listener and my approach is to work collaboratively in order to gain greater understanding and awareness of who you are and your individual needs. I believe that with increased self-awareness and acceptance we are able to make better choices in life. This is a valuable and interesting journey – but not always an easy one. With collaboration and support, however, it can be travelled and offers profound benefit for you.

I am a fully qualified and accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with 5 years of experience. I chose to train in an Integrative approach, which enables me to draw upon a broad range of theories in the process of therapy. I value this flexibility, as we are all different and my training means I can be responsive to individual needs and circumstances. On a deeper level this approach also encourages an integration of ourselves with our human experience. It’s a holistic approach (which sees us as an interrelated whole). Combined with a humanistic and relational approach this encourages you to co-create your therapeutic space with me.

Sometimes words can be difficult, and a different approach can greatly aid expression and experience. I am able to offer a creative approach in therapy and draw upon my artistic background to offer this. This is never imposed and only offered in response to need.

It’s important to find the therapist that you ‘click’ with and I am happy to connect via phone or email to answer any questions you may have. I also offer an initial appointment at a reduced rate. Please feel welcome to make an enquiry without obligation.

Experience

I have worked in various Charities in Norwich (St Barnabas Counselling Centre, MIND and 4Women Centre) with a wide range of people with a variety of life experiences.
I currently work in private practice. I also work with Students in counselling training and I provide brief solution focused therapy through Employment Assisted Programs.
