I am a Humanist and Integrative Psychotherapist offering long and short term Psychotherapy and Counselling for individuals and couples. I draw from various theoretical approaches in my work, including psychodynamic, person-centred and contemplative thinking.
I believe we all live in a world of relationships and the therapeutic relationship is a powerful vehicle for personal growth and development. At its heart, my practice is based on partnership, working with you to help make sense of your experience and the difficulties you are facing. Through this exploration and discovery lies the possibility for change - from simply feeling better to profound shifts in how you choose to live your life.
My areas of interest include the mind/body connection, the role of mindfulness in wellbeing and issues relating to parenting and the ageing process. My special area of expertise is working with individuals and couples who are living with the impacts of life threatening illness.
