My Approach

I use Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy (Ericksonian) along with experience in a variety of complementary holistic approaches.
This is usually relatively brief, solution-oriented therapy. Simply put, what usually happens is: In a relationship of respect and rapport I'll find out what you want - your ideal result of therapy, and we'll explore what's stopping you achieving this, which is often unconscious mental and emotional patterns. And then we'll work on you tapping into your inner resources, the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions that will help to be how you would like to be. This happens through us talking and me guiding you through various mental processes.

About Me

I have been working as a Psychotherapist/Hypnotherapist since 1988. I help people overcome a wide range of emotional, psychological and behavioural issues and to lead happy and fulfilling lives. I am also one of Britain's longest established trainers of NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis.
As well as wanting to make the world a better place through being a therapist and trainer, I'm interested in my own personal and spiritual development, health, family, and vegetable gardening.
