Are you feeling anxious, worried, down or just need someone to talk to. I am here to help as a qualified and experienced online therapist. As a Psychodynamic & CBT therapist working online I support clients to manage anxiety, address unhelpful patterns and thoughts and to make changes. This combination of insight and action works well, with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationships, low self-esteem, and feeling stuck. I have an LGBTQ+ affirmative approach and respect every individual's chosen identity as equal and valid. My approach enables me to work with you at depth for greater understanding, as well helping to address issues in the here and now to be able to feel more in control.
Finding the right fit is important, I offer 30-minute free initial video consultations to allow us to meet and see if I am the right therapist for you.
My theoretical approach is Psychodynamic; I believe we have a rich unconscious world that exists just out of awareness and influences much of what we do. I work with you to bring this into awareness. Difficulties in current relationships can often be understood through recognising the influence of our internal ways of working, and the past. I have additional trainings in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Family Theory, Creative Communication, and Working Online. I adopt a cross-modality therapeutic approach, using what works to fit your needs and to facilitate deeper understanding of the self as a route to mental wellbeing.
I am a BACP and UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and a registered member of ACTO, the association for counselling and therapist online. I work with clients for short-term and long-term contracts. I work online using email, live chat, and video (like sykpe). I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor.
‘This member has completed UKCP Covid-19 Online Working Guidance'
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
