I provide confidential counselling and psychotherapy in a comfortable setting in Felixstowe.
I obtained my Counselling Diploma in 2006 and completed my Psychotherapy Masters Degree in 2015. I have almost 4,000 hours' experience working with clients on a wide variety of issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, anger and feelings of shame and guilt. I work with individuals and couples who have difficulty with trust and jealousy, and I work with parents who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships with their children and with their in-laws.
Very often, when clients come to therapy, they are unsure exactly what they want to change: in these cases we usually spend the first session(s) exploring what they might change, and whether they might benefit from therapy.
I am an endorsed T.A.101 trainer, and I run training courses for other counsellors and psychotherapists. I also run some trainings that are suitable for anyone who has an interest in psychology or in self-development, or in improving their relationships or their parenting.
I offer a free initial assessment session. This allows us to meet and to chat about what you might gain from therapy, and gives you a chance to see whether you feel comfortable with me. There is no charge for this session, and no commitment or expectation for you to attend further sessions.
