I graduated from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute as a Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapist in 2005. Being person-centred means that I am committed to the belief that the relationship between the therapist and client is central to the healing process. Since that time I have undertaken various additional trainings to support the work that I do with individual adults and couples in Private Practice, and with children and families within an educational context. I believe that human beings of all ages wish to be seen, heard and understood.
I am an experienced, qualified and registered Psychotherapist and I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a calm and comfortable room which is conveniently located in Beeston. I will offer you my time, attention, respect and the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your difficulties. Choosing a psychotherapist is a very personal decision and so if you feel that you would like to meet with me, we can make an appointment for an initial session. This session will help you to decide if you would like to continue to work with me, and it will also help me to know a little bit more about you and to ensure that my skills are appropriate for the support you are seeking. There is no commitment to make any additional sessions.
