Debbie established her private practice in 2001 and has worked in the NHS for 15 years. Debbie holds clinics in Wokingham and Finchampstead close to Reading, Camberley and Basingstoke. Debbie has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders. She worked with adults, parents and young people (17+) presenting with general psychotherapeutic issues and more specialist issues eg eating disorders and autism. Debbie has a specialist interest and is undertaking a PhD in autistic spectrum conditions in psychotherapy. Debbie works holistically using an integrated humanistic model of therapy which emphasises people’s potential.

reporting when necessary.
Debbie is a registered practitioner with the National Centre for Eating Disorders and am a Master Practitioner. Her work with eating disorders incorporates Binge Eating Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, obesity, compulsive eating and eating distress (includes weight loss and shape concerns).
Debbie is UKCP registered psychotherapist, counsellor and supervisor (Humanistic). She has a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master Practitioner Eating Disorders and Obesity and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Debbie studied CBT with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre and engages in ongoing Continuous Development.
Appointments are held in a quiet ground floor room in Finchampstead or at counselling rooms in the Woosehill Medical Centre in Wokingham. Debbie's role is to facilitate your sessions in ways which respect your values, personal resources and capacity for choice. She provides a safe, confidential space and work within a clear therapeutic contract. You can self-refer for appointments and Debbie works with most health insurance providers and you can contact them directly for information on treatment authorisation .
