My Approach

NB: I AM CURRENTLY OFFERING SESSIONS AT A REDUCED RATE OF £30 TO COUPLES EXPERIENCING SEXUAL DIFFICULTIES.

About Me

NB: During the present coronavirus situation, I am offering therapy by Zoom rather than meeting clients face-to-face. This is a mode of therapy that I have used previously in applicable circumstances, and it is possible for effective therapeutic work to take place. I am currently fit and well and will continue to be available for clients, but in this alternative mode for the foreseeable future.

I have extensive experience as an NHS Psychotherapist, a Primary Care Counsellor, a University Counsellor, and in several industrial and commercial settings, as well as in private practice.

I have experience of working with many issues but currently specialise in the treatment of sexual addiction and relationship intimacy issues. My approach is informed by my psychoanalytic training, but I have learned to be adaptive to the needs of each individual or couple and the issues they bring, and so I work in flexible and responsive ways. Clients say that I am someone with whom it is possible to be at ease and to speak openly about troubling matters. With a wide experience of many life issues, my aim is to provide a consistent and reliable resource which can help you to understand and accept yourself better and to gain a greater sense of control over your life.
